San Antonio Zoo

without comments

While visiting San Antonio I stopped by the San Antonio Zoo It is a small zoo there is not much on exhibit, lots of birds, a few reptiles, bears and small cats. There is construction going on as well. The grounds are very nicely done and it would have been enjoyable except things were not kept up and the smell was overwhelming. It was so bad that even an hour later when I returned to the hotel I still smelled bad enough that everyone in the elevator looked at me and then backed away. Maybe when the construction is done things will improve and it’ll be worth a visit?

On the River Walk and Downtown San Antonio

without comments

I left bright and early to get some good pictures of the Riverwalk. But it looks awful lonely with out any people wandering about. I did pick up a homeless man who trailed me a good portion of the way. Some things never change.

I went up wandered about the downtown area of San Antonio too. It was nice to be in a city again. Twice I had men tell me how beautiful I was, didn’t I need to be in one of my pictures. Oldie but goodie. How gorgeous you are is directly related to the going price of your camera model at the local pawn shop of course. Pictures of the Riverwalk below, pictures of downtown later when I get a break.
