Armand Bayou

without comments

Today we wandered down to Armand Bayou. There are three, mile and half or so, trails through the woods. There is a lot less bayou than forest which was disappointing but it’s a nice park never the less. Had I not had a duh moment this morning and left mosquito spray at home it would have been more enjoyable.

We stumbled across an armadillo rooting for food. They must be extremely near sighted since he wouldn’t have seen me at all had I not started swatting at a horde of attacking blood suckers.

Spooky. Left over Halloween decorations on the trees I hope?

Even the trees have thorns down here.

There are lots of deer and osprey in the park. We watched some osprey for a while but they didn’t get close enough for us to get a good shot.

Got something stuck in my teeth.

Come play with me?

It’s not easy being green.

Just try taking one more picture lady.

As always the zoo was fun. There was a crowd so get there early if you can this time of year.
