One place I wish I had more time to spend was the San Antonio Botanical Gardens There are several acres of manicured gardens all with different themes. There are also 5 green houses with themed gardens inside. I only had an hour to spend there but I could easily have spent four going through all the various gardens. Themed gardens included ferns, herbs, roses, water wise, desert, tropical and many others. It is well worth a trip and only a few miles from the River Walk.
