On the road and visiting San Antonio this weekend. I saw the website for Natural Bridge Caverns and though it was totally a tourist trap we went anyhow. It was worth every penny of the $20 each it cost us to take a tour through the cave. I thought it’d be rough since I’m claustrophobic but I was so into the caves it didn’t bother me at all being down there.
The caves are limestone formed from an earthquake caused crevice that allows water to seep under ground. I’m told there are albino, deaf, blind crickets who live down there. I’ve no idea what they eat we saw nothing alive down there.
Leaving we saw ‘Bat Cave Circle’. We took the detour but alas, no bat cave and no batman.
