Texas Company Building Houston
We ran across this gorgeous abandoned building in Houston near the Minute Maid Stadium. It has been long abandoned. The plaque says it was built in the early 1900s. It is strange to find large abandoned buildings deep in the city. However land prices are still cheap enough in Houston that old buildings are not yet worth the trouble of fixing up or razing.
Texas Company later became Texaco.
It is still so weird to walk about a big city and see so few pedestrians. Where are all the people? They say 5 and a half million people are here somewhere.
