We took a road trip to Downtown Bryan which is supposed to be full of antique stores and restaurants. However it is full of boarded up stores and has a few of the stores you find in not so nice areas. There are lots of new windows and scaffolding inside store fronts so perhaps soon it will be a nice place to visit. It is surprising to see a downtown area so large out in the middle of no where.
Next we traveled to College Station home of Texas A&M. It is a huge university but it was chilly today so there wasn’t much going on.
Finally we traveled to Huntsville which has an 80′ or so tall statue of Sam Houston along 45N and a copy of the face part of the statue on the ground on the path up to the statue.
