Houston Highland Games
We went down to the Houston Highland Games. It was a small gathering but we did get to see a few bands, one of which was very good. Tartanic has a very different sound almost a Middle Eastern mix in with Scottish pipes and drums. We enjoyed the show very much and if you get a chance to see them, they are worth the trip. I haven’t had a chance to listen to the cd we purchased from them yet.
We also chanced apon a very distant cousin of sorts a member of the MacAFie Society who raises some gorgeous red headed cattle, the current beauty being named “MacFie”
