Christmas trees and kittens
I went to Walmart, bought all plastic ornaments for the tree. Turned out to be a good thing. With two kittens in the house the tree is an irresistible draw. They are all blue or silver so it doesn’t look too bad.
I received my first gas bill with heat costs on it and we used 74% less gas than the previous owners this month last year ( usage adjusted for hdd ) Pretty cool. All I’ve done so far is seal the recessed lights and skylights and a bit of siliconing. The attic insulation is less than 20% done. It’ll be interesting to see how much of a difference it makes on the a/c next summer. I’m hoping to finish insulating the attic late this week or early next week.
