Not all is perfection
We have started to run across restaurants that are sub-prime. One in particular stands out. It is an Italian place not far from here. The waiter asked if we had been there before. ‘No’ was the wrong answer. He went into the portion sizes, restaurant history, detailed descriptions of the numerous pictures on the walls and we were getting cross-eyed and beginning to wonder if there was a ‘Candid Camera’ nearby. Eventually he did stop talking. Next he pestered us about filling out cards giving them our names, addresses, phones and emails. The part that really took the cake was when he began bringing by other people’s food as he brought it from the kitchen to them for us to inspect. EWWWWH!
We have the cars registered and went by to switch over our licenses, all fairly painless. I’m waiting for the licenses to show up in the mail now.
The kittens are getting bigger and getting outside a bit now. Barney learned he could climb the window screens the other night. Funniest thing, he would tear up the screen, past the top of it, hit the glass and get dropped to the ground. Still he persisted a half dozen or so times.
Below are a couple of shots of Galveston where we went for lunch Tuesday.
