Life in the flyover

Tomorrow is moving day

without comments

I’m glad I finished getting the car packed, it has been raining all day. I’m listening to opera, thinking of all the things that can go wrong between now and next Thursday, packing, cleaning and thumbing through decorating magazines.

Totally hectic day. I spent it IMing, emailing, phoning and dealing with people in person. Everything seems to be moving along smoothly still. I heard a great story. A contractor here told us his sister has a gold fish pond and a bull frog moved in and ate her fish. Too funny.

The water dept. came by to get the final meter read off the water. It took 3 guys and ~ 20 minutes to get that done. Go figure.

So tomorrow is move out day, updates will be sporatic till we are re-settled. I’ll try to get some good pics and stories as we travel. Though the trip may just be mind numbingly dull. We shall see.
