Homeowners are the biggest polluters of all. With all the projects done on this house we had a scary pile of toxic chemicals to dispose of and we’ll be in Houston on the one day a year that you can bring toxic stuff to the city.

Luckily the State of Mass. has a page explaining how you can safely rid your home of these things with out poisoning the environment. MA DEP Recycling Hazardous Products So I’ve spent the morning playing chemist. So far all the fingers are still attached, there have been no explosions and we’re moving right along.

This afternoon I am replacing and adding smoke detectors and doing the pre-approval stuff on a mortgage in Texas.

Bleh, waiting for the mortgage company to call back…

There is a frog in the pond today. I don’t know if he wintered over or moved in with the warm weather. So we’ve 4 fish and a frog that survived winter, and so far the raccoon.

No birds today, the hawk must’ve been around but I didn’t see him.
