36 Days on the market

However did we live with all these imperfections? After cleaning out some books it is clear the baseboards behind the bottom row of books were rather shabby looking so those got a fresh coat of paint. The rest of the day was spent cleaning with a wee bit of time stolen for stock market research.

The Salesman still has not heard back from Saturday’s showing agent. I’ve no clue what is up with that.

Unbeknownst to me an ad was run in one of the local real estate magazines last week, unfortunately at the higher price. Fat lot of good that will do.

The open house will be in two weeks, oh joy. I’m sure hoping there is an offer and preferably a P&S in hand before then. It doesn’t seem likely. The Salesman is avoiding talking about the open house for brokers he promised. I’ll push him on that later this week.

I’ve been using the mapass system to track showings. They post the total showings and listings on the main page so I can see from that how many showings we should be getting. It looks like we are behind, but I kind of figured that. I’ll track those numbers for a week before asking the Salesman about those.
