35 days on the market

Snow! Whose idea of a joke was that? There are only supposed to be a few inches, not feet but still, on a Monday holiday with snow falling I expect everyone will want to stay home and curl up with books and movies. We were really hoping for another showing with the long weekend.

The Salesman is going to re-run an ad in the Boston Globe next week. This one is only a wee bit more verbose but it gets the major points across.

No word yet from the people who looked at the place Sat. Their salesman is off today.

The Salesman is going to set up an open house for brokers and I’m going to do one for the public. Who knows? Perhaps we will be the exception to the rule and catch a buyer?

We are so very exhausted tonight. We spent the day packing up Number 1 Son’s stuff from the basement, and sorting and packing up books. There are 30 or so bags of books in my car. We could easily have sent another 20 bags up to him. Who knew Lincoln Town Car’s would be so small? ;-) My car is very unhappy but it’ll have to do. I’m heading to the western part of the state Wed. to bring them all up to him.

If this house sale falls in the middle of the statistics then we have 7 showings and 26 days to go. Lets hope we are at least average here.
